ACT Leisure Program’s new centre is located at 74 Murranji Street, Hawker, ACT 2641. The new centre is a multi-purpose site providing social community programs and support for participants, and it acts as a respite home for those wanting to give loved ones a break or a change of scenery.

Our Hawker centre’s short term accommodation is designed to be a safe place for participants to stay and be supported in a respectful manner. ACT Leisure Program has made the conscious decision to not mark the property as the feedback we have received from our participants is that they feel stigmatised and targeted. By design, our Hawker centre is meant to look like an ordinary property where people come together. This service is much sought after in Canberra, and we are proud to be able to offer it to our valued clients and participants.
